I have worked in the Environmental Engineering field as a consultant and researcher for the last 6 years, primarily focused on stormwater and drinking water infastructure design/quality. However my passion has always been to teach, as experienced tutoring students of various ages in mathematics during pursuit of my college degrees. I have also worked as a camp counselor for 3 years (Camp Live Oak) and volunteer teacher in Tanzania, Africa for a half year. In addition I have volunteered with the organization Engineers Without Borders for 5 years on bringing clean water projects in Haiti. I believe everyone has the potential to excel at a subject, the key is finding the best approach in understanding the subject matter, while making the information interesting,
